Man forced to work on his birthday, gets the surprise of his life!

Published on

Anthony 'Ant' King, a 57 year old who has been keeping the streets of Auckland clean since a lot of us were born. Starting at 16 years old, he has finally been paid back after serving the community for decades after going into work on his birthday.

Ant walks a 3 mile commute to work and has been doing it for the last 18 years with perfect attendance. He said he wouldn’t swap it for anything in the world and that he ‘loves’ his job.

As Ant recalled it was a chilly morning in the city of Auckland when he got up on his 57th birthday at 5am to clean the streets for the people. After he finished his long day he went to go and buy a second hand phone he had been saving up for.

“I had been saving up for this phone for quite a few months, I have never had a ‘smartphone’ before and thought it was time I caught up with the times. Once I bought the cell phone, I decided to sit down on the bench and give it a go before my walk home.”

One street sweeper you would want to swap shoes with

“I noticed there was something installed on it called Bingo Liner, I clicked on it. I noticed there were $30 free dollars credit that I could use and I used them on the jackpot, I would of never installed this game but it was already on the phone so I decided to give it a shot. I couldn’t believe my eyes of what happened next”

Ant's life changed forever after he hit a stroke of luck winning the “Mega Moolah Jackpot” on his third spin with winnings of $782,349.00!

“A whole bunch of numbers just popped up on the cell phone, I don’t think I have seen so many numbers” Ant chuckled. “Seriously though, I didn’t expect to win, it’s more money than I ever would've dreamt of. It still hasn’t sunk in yet”

We went on to ask what he will do with his winnings.

“I think I will buy myself a car although I do love my walk to work, especially when the sun is out. Though I will definitely get a car, at this age, I’m getting old now. I will still work sweeping the streets because it is what I love doing and apart from that I can finally pay for my daughters wedding, something that I never could of done thanks to Bingo Liner

There won’t be many more heartwarming stories about people winning in the future as Bingo Liner have announced that their free spins promotion will be ending soon as over 274 players across New Zealand have been taking home money with 100% free play since the promotion began last month. The gaming site have already paid out over $5,000,000 in the last month changing people’s lives.

Mail Today reporter Karen Jones also tried her hand at the jackpot but sadly only walked away with a $429 - you can’t always win as big as Ant sadly!

Think this could be your lucky day too? Mail Today has managed to acquire a limited supply of Bingo Liner's "$30 dollars credit" coupons! Hurry, as supply is limited as the promotion will be ending

@Noah Jus to let you know, this isn't bullshit. I do the exact same thing. I clear roughly $1k a week. I'm 31 and in a few months I will be headed to pay off my auto loan in a big lump sum.
If you're a hater, keep hating. But if you're a dreamer who knows anything is possible with the right attitude.. this is for you.

Obviously bollocks. How many sign-up offers are out there? Completely fake story, and given the subject matter it's highly irresponsible to publish.

My brother works in the online gambling industry and Zodiac Casino is notoriously known for having some of the the “loosest" slots in the industry. I’ve tripled my $$ on “Mermaids Treasure”, "Sherwood Surprise” and “Crack the Safe”. Truth

I’m a huge online gambler and the rumors are, Zodiac Casino is trying to become the biggest online casinos in New Zealand. That’s why they're offering free plays left and right AND they have some of the easiest games. So players win often and spread the word. Take advantage of this while you still can guys!

Ah yes I heard of these guys before. they’re legit and it’s easy to win if you play the smaller jackpots. I remember winning like $300 with the free credits they gave me
